Beginning around 2008, the then Department of Environment and Resource Management (now Department of Environment and Science), CSIRO and ARCS were involved in a project at Springbrook to establish a Wireless Sensor Network monitoring a range of environmental parameters.
The network was established on Pallida, one of the principal restoration properties.
A detailed description of this project is given on the Wireless Sensor Networks page under the Science menu.
